Embracing the natural beauty of wood allowing the inherent variations in grain and colour to shine through. While our product images provide a glimpse into the artistry, we encourage you to appreciate the charm of slight differences in each piece and not expect carbon copies of the product image and instead to embrace the variation of wood and handmade creations.
How to Look After Your Knife:
Looking after wooden products correctly is really important, otherwise they can warp and crack, but this doesn’t need to happen, especially with high quality timber and finishes like we have at Oak Spinney. Make sure you store your knife in a dry, moisture free place away from direct sunlight and. Wash it with warm soapy water and remove from the water immediately and dry thoroughly. Use a wood care product to oil your knife regularly. A good indication that your knife needs more oil is if it begins to lose its shine and look dry and lighter.
